The long and particular Japanese culinary tradition is carefully analyzed in this new book, through the filter of anime and manga. A journey to the knowledge of animated worlds and the favorite food of these heroes.
From the bento taken from My Neighbor Totoro, to the sanshoku dango of Naruto, to the takoyaki of Crillin in Dragon Ball Super, this book is a journey between animation and the typical cuisine of the Rising Sun, in a fun and curious mix.
All the illustrations in the book were made especially for the Itadakimasu exhibition.
On the cover an unpublished work by Loputyn.
