Among all the creams that we use for our desserts, custard is definitely the best known and the most appreciated around the world. A classic that usually entails egg yolks, sugar, milk, flour and vanilla beans. But the cream world is way wider than that and it includes a series of extremely tasty and interesting varieties. Food blogger and food photographer Elvira De Luca has decided to showcase some of those, in a book that talks about her daughters favourite ingredient: cream. The book is split into soft dessertes, crunchy desserts and creamy desserts. A concentration of sugar that will make your mouth water just by looking at it, with bignes, cakes, cupcakes and silky jars of cream. Get your spoons ready… cream is waiting for you!
She was born in Modena, but she moved to Tuscany – where she currently lives – for love. Today she has three daughters: Francesca and the two twins Chiara and Stefania. In 2015 she opened her blog Elvira Dolci e Cucina, where she gathers family recipes, experiments and creations; on her social channels, mainly on her Instagram account elvira_dolci_e_cucina, she also shares her other big passion: food photography. Starting from this, she decided to turn some good ideas into a job: today Elvira works with a cooking magazine and she creates content for different food companies. A tutta… crema is her second book for Trenta Editore, after the success of Non le solite mele (2022).
