Vitantonio Lombardo is a chef and restaurant owner who turned his biggest passion into his job, and he now enjoys cooking just like he did when he had first started. His recipe book Cuore, Testa, Pancia. is a hymn to his passion, cooking, to life, love, his origins and the Italian food culture and its excellent ingredients. A book that was created to be used, underline and “eaten”, in which the recipes become an expression of his language, a detailed tale of his life.
Vitantonio Lombardo
Born in 1979, he left his home region, Basilicata, at 15 years old in order to fully dedicate himself to his passion for food and hospitality. He brought with him his grandma’s recipes. And just like that he had the chance to grow in the most extraordinary chefs’ kitchens, including Davide Scabin and Paolo Teverini. In 2018 he went back in Lucania, Matera to be precise, and he opened up his Vitantonio Lombardo Ristorante.
