The book

A research carried out by the Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco has shown how the majority of the emergency calls coming from households have a culinary reason, because a lot of people do not know the basic rules of the kitchen tools and they have no idea how to solve the “disasters” that happen in the kitchen.

This is why we had the idea of launching a project that could involve the firemen themselves. A book that could become a tool for people that don’t know what is the correct way to use certain utensils. Firemen were asked to share a traditional family recipe, something that could tell their story and their relationship with their colleagues as well. Recipes and suggestions written by them that can come in handy when we’re cooking. Teamwork doesn’t happen only on the field, but also in the kitchen, and it expands to the firemen’s families too.
