The book

Being in the middle of Northern Spain, among the four districts along the River Duero, Segovia, Valladolid, Burgos and Soria. Here is the Ribera area, a region where besides the beautiful historical pieces, you may discover another important treasure: the red wine Ribera del Duero, Denominación de Origen (DO). The story of the wine-producing region is very ancient and tied to aspecific wine variety, Tempranillo: the result is a rich red wines production, which are able to become old into barriques or to be drunk when are young and fresh. A tour through wine farms, old cellars, wine-making traditions thanks to the wonderful photos but Mattia Barbotti and Stefano Giomi.
