Pietro D’Agostino
Born in 1972, Pietro D’Agostino was born in Taormina where he attended the culinary academy. After numerous experiences abroad and in Italy, in 2003 he opened his own restaurant, La Capinera, where he expresses all the richness of Sicilian cuisine with intelligent and innovative creativity. In 2008 he was awarded a Michelin star and joined the JRE and Charming Italian Chef. He has numerous experiences as an ambassador of Sicilian cuisine in the world, personally choosing all the ingredients that end up on the table. In 2017, he launched two new projects: an innovative gastronomic container in the heart of Taormina, Kistè, with an easy gourmet formula and an essential cuisine, and his first line of products, available under the Io Pietro D’Agostino brand, directly selected by him.
